There was only one problem: I couldn’t seem to shake the effects of my insomnia. Six months after my sleeplessness began, it was finally over. It took weeks, but to my immense relief, the treatment worked. Only after I consulted a sleep specialist did insomnia slink away, cowed by the strict behavioral regimen he prescribed. Terrified of causing an accident, I stopped driving. I stumbled through the days, barely able to focus on work.

Each evening, I drifted off as usual, only to awaken three hours later, a relentless series of nights during which I lay awake in the dark, waiting for slumber that never came, despair and fatigue increasing. The sleeplessness struck without warning, upending my (mostly) tranquil life. Challenging the brain's pessimistic predictions, or even using the noting technique to address and lessen negativity can actually “create measurable physical changes in the brain." Now, though, hearing it from a counselor, what I thought was: Is this lady for real? How could positive thoughts ease the anxiety I experienced after emerging from four months of severe insomnia? Research shows that deliberately reframing negative thoughts can lessen them. After all, in recent years, a raft of studies has highlighted the benefits of positive thinking. They said you should move to the Ultra, but I would be glad to do, but that would start me at a new date and they've also shut down the notifications, lol.Maybe I’d heard or read about this somewhere else. EVGA really did a disservice to possible consumers.īoth of mine aren't low end cards - 3080 FTW and 3080 XC3 Gaming. So all the while, other people who signed up later are getting cards and we're not getting anything unless we sign up again and wait until.? By that time, the 4000 series will be out. So we've been sitting in the queue for over a year and they don't have the decency to move us over to a similar card that is being produce or even let us know! I had no clue till I asked in the EVGA forum. Come to find out, both of those cards haven't seen movement in well over a month and EVGA told me they aren't going to produce those cards anymore. Fine, I understand that, so I picked the two best. I had probably 6-7 cards with notifications since last Oct., over a year ago at this point. Lovely, way to go EVGA!ĮVGA royally screwed customers.
They said you should move to the Ultra, but I would be glad to do, but that would start me at a new date and they've also shut down the notifications, lol. Neither of these models have made any movement on enewt's report in months, and it doesn't look like Evga is interested in producing any of their lower cost models.Ĭlick to expand.EVGA royally screwed customers. I signed up for the RTX 3080 XC3 Black on and the RTX 3070 XC3 Black on. Of course, enewt's information is based solely on people reporting when they receive a notification-so, if someone receives a notification and doesn't report it, his table may not be completely accurate. You can then get a rough idea of where you are in line based on the last notification sent out for the card(s) you've signed up for. So, you can see the current date/time at which the last notification has been sent for each model. Specifically, on the Evga forums (in this thread on the EVGA Graphics Cards forum), forum member "enewt" keeps a tally of the most recent notifications sent for each card model based on what people report in that thread. However, you can estimate where you are in the queue in a thread on Evga's forums. Per Evga's website (once logged in, select "My EVGA", then "My Notifies").ĮVGA Staff and Customer Service do not have access to queue positions or estimated times for your notifies and as such, would not be able to give you that information via phone or email." No, you cannot verify your place in the queue.
